In the tMCAO model in rat, NK-102 is able to decrease the total volume of infarction of 30% and the volume of cortical infarction of 50% at least 2 hours after the beginning of ischemia.Neurokin will develop drug candidates up to clinical phase 2 and license them to the pharmaceutical industry or, according to the opportunities, will co-develop NK-102 for some clinical indications.Neurokin will perform its development programs either through VC financing or through a partnership with a Pharmaceutical company interested in bringing them further into the clinic.
